Some say it was when I made a film trashing the political machine in Washington. Some say it was when I fled the political machine and Washington altogether for a new life in San Francisco. My mom thinks it was either when I started listening to punk and metal in my teens or when I tried my first cigarette. My wife thinks it was sometime around when my parents got divorced. I think it may have been shortly after my birth. All of these may or may not be true.
